After what seemed like a ridiculously long wait, the world is celebrating the arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby.

And no-one seems more delighted with the news than the Kate Middleton and husband Prince William.

In fact, their reaction to the monumental royal baby news is making royal watchers across the globe say “awww” with delight.

Especially because there were fears throughout Meghan's pregnancy that the 'Awesome Foursome' of Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had all fallen out.

But this message, assumed to be written by Kate according to royal watchers, gives fans hope that the royal baby might just be the catalyst to re-connect.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son today, and look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family. #Repost @sussexroyal ・・・ We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses' son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. Now all eyes are one when we'll see Kate and Wills pay a visit to see their new nephew and have the first cuddle!

This news came along with a far more 'royal', formal version of the congratulations news which was released by the royal family, and even included Princess Diana's sisters and brother and the reaction from Doria Ragland - Meghan's mum who is with her daughter at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news. The Duchess's mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage. Her Royal Highness and the baby are both doing well.

The world welcomed the royal newborn early Monday morning at 5:26 a.m. UK time. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's baby boy was delivered at a very healthy 7 pounds and 3 ounces, and mother and baby are said to be doing well.

According to Prince Harry's unexpected TV interview this morning, Meghan, Harry and the new royal baby, who doesn't have a name yet, will be making their world debut on Wednesday to meet a selected group of media.

Hopefully by then, the name of Baby Sussex will be announced - with most punters betting on ARTHUR or ALEXANDER.
