Must see viral video that shows kids how to avoid germs and viruses

'I recommend every child do this'

As a parent it is often a battle to get your children to wash their hands properly.

We can remind them to sing ‘Happy Birthday’ and show them charts on correct ways to wash hands, but kids will be kids, and this fantastic video is a cracker of a visual when it comes to avoiding germs and viruses.

The video shows a mum adding ‘germs’ to a bowl of water, the ‘germs’ are just pepper.  Her child dips his finger into the pepper water and the ‘germs’ then stick to her finger.

“I got germs”, he says as he inspects his finger covered in pepper ‘germs’.

He then dips a different finger into liquid soap and dips it into the water and pepper ‘germ’ solution.

The liquid soap retells the pepper germs and the adorable little boy giggles in delight.

You can then hear his mum say: “And that’s why you have to wash your hands.”

Mums on social media are loving the visual germ hack and have been doing the ‘science experiment’ at home with their kids.

“I recommend every child do this, with the real threat of Coronavirus out there, this should put a boot up the kids butts and remind them why they have to wash their hands properly”, commented one.

“Yes yes yes! So doing this”, said another.

Right, be right back, off to dip my son’s finger in pepper!
