The Duchess looks very proud of her pregnant body

Pregnant Meghan Markle – now the Duchess of Sussex – joined Prince Harry for a public walkabout on Fraser Island and she showed the crowds just how proud she is of her new baby bump!

The pregnant Duchess, whose schedule has been pared back to allow her to rest over the coming days, met members of the public at Kingfisher Bay Jetty.

Meghan wore a grey and white dress with vertical stripes for the walkabout and wore her hair tied back.

She also sported sunglasses on her head and at one point the mum-to-be could be seen lovingly cradling her baby bump.

As Harry and Meghan strolled hand-in-hand along the jetty they were given presents by members of the public who had assembled there.

One of them held a sign that said “Rangas Rule”, Australian slang for someone with ginger hair.

At one point, Harry and Meghan were gifted twin bears - each wearing blue outfits suggesting they may be boys.

The couple giggled as they each held a bear in their hands.

Earlier in the day Harry, without his pregnant wife Meghan, was greeted by the Butchulla People and took part in a traditional Welcome to Country smoking ceremony on Fraser Island.

He spoke under the island’s satinay trees in Pile Valley, some up to 1,000 years old and used to build the London docks in the 1930s.

Meghan's stripey dress looked cool and relaxed but she struggled walking in the frock with a thigh-high split!
