2-ingredient make at home antibacterial hand sanitiser amid coronavirus panic.
Have you run out of antibacterial gel??
The coronavirus pandemic has sent shoppers across the nation into a frenzy and panic buying is sweeping supermarkets.
Not only can you not purchase necessities like toilet paper, tissues, soap, antibacterial gel has also been out of stock for what seems like weeks now. As soon as new shipments arrive of hand sanitiser, keen shoppers snap up what they can and again the shelves are bare.
The World Health Organization (WHO) has advised that the best way to protect yourself against diseases and infection is to use good hygiene practices. Hand washing has never been more important as more cases of coronavirus are confirmed daily.
But when you are out and about, making your trip to work, on outings with the family and anytime you leave the house, having antibacterial gel in your bag is always handy to give you hands a once over when you do not have access to soap and water.
If you like so many Australian’s have run out of hand sanitiser, you might like to try and make your own. It’s quick, simple and affordable.
All you will need is:
Isoproyl x 2 parts, make sure it is 99%
Aloe Vera x 1 part
You can purchase both from your local pharmacy or supermarket.
Mix together well and pour into individual spray bottles.
Tip: only use 6 times and then wash your hands with soap and water. This will help break up usage a bit to prevent immunity to it.
