An Aussie mum has revealed her cleaning hack for getting rid of stubborn water scale stains in her kettle.

Sharing on Facebook, mum Angela reveals she uses Coca Cola to deep clean her kettle.

Posting on Mums who clean Facebook page, Angela says she uses rain water in her kettle which produces stubborn water scale stains.

"The first 2 pictures are My kettle before I boiled 2 cans of coke in it

The last 2 after. I boiled 2 cans of coke straight then I filled with water and boiled 2 times", shared Angela

Angela boiled her kettle with two cans of Coca Cola, she boiled the kettle twice.

She then rinsed out her kettle with vinegar, to remove any last areas of stubborn scale.

Angela's kettle is so shiny and clean it looks like a brand new kettle!

Other members of Mums who clean were amazed at the incredible results achieved using Coca Cola.

"My mum used coke to get oil stains off the concrete", shared one.

"I save any flat Coke just for this purpose. That way I don't feel like I'm wasting it, lol. Only difference is that I just pour the coke in & just let it soak overnight. Next morning I just rinse it with water & it's as good as new 😊", commented another.

"Every week I put the left over flat coke in the bottom of my jug, I have never had the need to boil the coke, just leave it for about 1-2 hrs then rinse out , fill the jug with water and boil the jug a couple of time to rinse out properly", said another.
