She could not believe what she was seeing...

A Queensland mum had the shock of her life when she caught her three-year-old daughter playing with a very risqué toy as she walked around Kmart

Catherine Douglas, from Rockhampton QLD, told news.com.au she had been at her local Kmart store with her two daughters, aged 6 and 3, when her youngest daughter walked around the corner brandishing what looked like a sexually explicit toy!

“We were having a look around the doll section, when my three-year-old came around the corner with this thing in her hand,” Catherine said.

“My first impression was total shock, I said: ‘What’s that? Give it to me now!’.”

And this is what it was...

Unsurprisingly, Catherine took the toy from her daughter, which was wrapped in blue material.

“When I grabbed it from her and took a proper look, I was relieved to see it was some sort of a toy,” she said.

It is in fact, an Orb Odditeez Fuzion Foodz and it costs $5.

The toys are basically a ‘squishy surprise’ that come wrapped up in a coloured "banana peel".

The company describe them like this: 'ORB Odditeez™ FuzionFoodz™are the aPEELing collectible with a fun surprise waiting inside. From sweet treats to wacky whatsits - which one will you reveal when you pull back the peel?'

Catherine's post about the strange toys sent Facebook into a spin after she posted it on a private group and she thinks it might have been too racy for some of the other parents she shared it with.

“Perhaps the administrators of the group weren’t happy with it being on there,” Catherine revealed.

“I didn’t intend to offend anyone, but if it did, then maybe Kmart may need to think about taking it off their shelves.”
