While she may be a duchess now, and never steps out without looking beautiful and perfectly groomed, it turns out Meghan Markle has bad habits just like the rest of us!
The Telegraph found an article Meghan published on her website The Tig, and found a list of behaviours she has tried to kick in the past – without much luck.
Back in 2016, Meghan admitted she had a list of New Year’s resolutions that she failed to crack repeatedly.
"Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French," she wrote.
“These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year. The marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks.
“It still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit.”
Meghan admitted that she chews her nails when stressed, particularly on turbulent flights.
She said: “My nails will be fine, and if I toss out a four-letter word once in a blue moon, well frankly I think it adds character.”
She then said she resolved to “leave room for magic” during the following year. Just six short months later she met Prince Harry.
And the rest as they say, is history. And clearly he adores her, regardless of her so-called ‘unladylike habits’.
