A 12-year-old girl has delivered a baby whose father is eight years her senior at age 20, in Ukraine.
The unnamed girl of Roma origin went into labour at her landfill home near the city of Rivne, western Ukraine, and was urgently hospitalised.
Reports say she did not understand what was going on after she starting having contractions and was screaming out in pain.
She was spotted by a landfill guard where she lives who called an ambulance for the frightened and confused child.
Rushed to Rivne Maternity Hospital where doctors helped her to deliver her son.
The labour was "difficult and lasted ten hours", a hospital spokesperson said.

Now her parents want her to raise the child in their shack at the landfill in Rivne - but hospital admin staff have reportedly refused to allow that.
The newborn's 27-year-old grandmother said: "Just give me them both back. I want them to go home with me."

Rivne Maternity Hospital's head doctor, Victoria Enikeeva said the matter had been reported to police and social services.
"The girl lives at the city landfill. We cannot discharge her and the baby and let them go there. We reported the situation to the police and social services.", she said.

Speaking to local media Doctor Olena Sadova said: "A child gave birth to a child. I'm still in a deep shock when thinking about that.
"The pregnant girl was asocial and extremely dirty. She was scared and did not realise what was happening to her.
