Hands up who enjoys cleaning the shower… No one? Anyone?
It has got to be one of the most hated household cleaning jobs, possibly the oven rates higher, but shower screens are up there.
Sure, we can use a squeegee after every use, but that will not stop soap scum or hard water build-up from accumulating.
Now that we are spending more time at home than ever, it’s time to tackle some of the big cleaning jobs you may have been avoiding!
Aussie mum Tracey has shared her latest miracle find after ‘trying everything else’ to remove stubborn soap scum from her shower.
Says Tracey: “Finally found the game-changer for shower glass.”
Also sharing her before and after pictures, she adds: “Easy to rub in and wash off. Found in Bunnings cleaning aisle. Have tried everything else before finding this 😃😃”
Tracey’s before and after pictures speak for themselves.
Tracey’s discovery is Rain-X Shower door extreme cleaner found at your local Bunnings in the cleaning aisle. Says Bunnings website: “This unique product, specially formulated for use on glass shower doors, is ideal for removing soap scum, dirt, hard water build-up, calcium, lime stains and rust stains.”
Members from Mums Who Clean agreed that RainX is the bomb when it comes to cleaning the grottiest of showers.
One member, a professional cleaner commenting: “I'm an end of lease cleaner and this is what we use. I’ve cleaned some really bad showers. Like to the point the glass couldn't been seen through. And I've used Rainx to clean it”
Added another: “well worth the $20, game changer!”
Said a third: “That is awesome stuff. My client that also has a house in America brought some back years ago you could only get it from the US at the time. So glad they have finally got in here.”
