WATCH: Two girls allegedly burning clothes next to bushland

Scott Langley was driving through Oakford, south of Perth, about 7pm on Tuesday, when he came across two girls, who were allegedly standing over lit clothing.

Shocking footage shows the bizarre moment the man confronted the girls, who claimed they had to burn their clothes on the side of the road.

In the video, which was shared to the Oakford Community Page on Facebook, the man pulls up alongside the two girls and asks: “What the f*** are you doing?”

He continues: “No, don't f***ing burn your clothes. Put it out. It's a complete fire ban… a complete fire ban, don't burn your clothes.”

The man then asks the girls where they live, before telling them to go home – at which point, one of the girls verbally lashes out at him.

“It doesn't f***ing matter where we live,” one of the girls says, before adding: “You go f***ing home.”

Following the bizarre encounter, the man shared the video on social media to help identify the two girls.

“Anybody know these two young girls? Found them starting a fire on the corner of Brockwell Place and Foxton Drive this afternoon at 7:00pm,” Mr Langley captioned.

“When confronted about what they were doing they said: ‘We just had to burn it!’. I immediately stomped the fire out and told them to go home while a friend recorded everything.”

With a “catastrophic” fire warning currently in place, the footage has angered Facebook users, with many taking to the social platform to slam the girls for the alleged behaviour.
