An official statement from the royal family has revealed more details about Princess Eugenie and fiance Jack Brooksbank’s wedding next Friday.

According to the statement, the couple’s wedding cake is being crafted by London-based cake designer Sophie Cabot, who describes the red velvet and chocolate cake as "special and unique", featuring rich autumn colours and detailed sugar work.

"I am incredibly excited to be given this wonderful opportunity to create such a special and unique cake,” Cabot gushed.

Meanwhile, the wedding service itself will feature a personal prayer written by Archbishop of York John Sentamu. 

The Dean of Windsor David Conner will also officiate as the couple make their marriage vows. He will give the address at the wedding.

And world-renowned Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli will perform two pieces during the service, with members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra also featuring. 

State trumpeters from the band of the Household Cavalry will also perform a fanfare.
