First photos: The 4 rare Coles Stikeez that will earn you a fortune
You can make thousands!
Coles has confirmed that four rare Stikeez will be available for shoppers to collect in their latest supermarket promotion.
Launching on February 12, Coles has released the first pics of the four bonus and ultra rare Stikeez that will be on offer to New Idea Food. They include a glittery Connor Corn, a glow-in-the-dark Chip Cheese, a bronze Ella Egg, and a silver Buster Burger.
The four Stikeez will be available in all Coles supermarkets and Coles Express stores, with shoppers earning a Stikeez for every $30 they spend in store. Bonus Stikeez will also be available to shoppers when they buy certain items - see this week’s full list here!
The release of the four rare Stikeez is a huge development for collectors. Last year only one rare Stikeez was available - the Golden Billy Banana - with 100 released randomly at all stores.
Many of the rare Billy Bananas sold for serious money on eBay, with one earning a lucky person more than $20,000.
Now with four rare Stikeez on offer, it means that you could be sitting on a gold mine if you find one or even all of them.
And in another exciting development, Coles Chief Marketing Officer Lisa Ronson said that Stikeez collectibles, including those customers have from last year, can now be recycled at all Coles supermarkets.
‘Customers have told us they use Stikeez as a fun tool to encourage kids to eat more types of fresh foods. Our research showed that 31 per cent of customers who collected the first Stikeez range increased their purchases of fruit and vegetables and 50 per cent bought a wider variety of fresh produce,’ she said.
‘We wanted to bring Stikeez and a healthy eating initiative back but in a more sustainable way. Customers can now return any duplicate, old and spare Stikeez back to Coles supermarkets to be recycled. They’re also wrapped in responsibly sourced paper that’s fully recyclable in kerbside recycling bins at home.’
