Stop what you’re doing! Aldi has a whopping 8L air fryer on the way for less than $100!

Oh and they have pie makers too!

Air fryers are officially the new pie maker. Aussie home chefs have gone nuts over the kitchen gadget.

Sure you can bung in a few chicken nuggets and chips for a quick dinner for the kids but you can do so much more. Home cooks have been whipping up roasts with enviable crackling, bread, pavlovas - even monte carlo biscuits!

Kmart has an air fryer that is much smaller than the Aldi big boy. At just 3.2L for $69, the Aldi 8L for a mere $99.99 will certainly grab home cooks attention. Similar larger sized air fryers can set you back upwards of $150.

If you are new to the air fryer craze, we’ll break it down for you. Smaller and faster than a conventional oven, the whizz-bang air fryer uses rapid air technology to create heat rather than an element. The heat circulates around your food rapidly surrounding it in a similar way to food submerged in hot oil in a deep fryer. The result is food with a crispy fried texture without additional fat.

They heat up faster, cook faster, are more compact and they are much easier to clean!

If you are pie-curious, Aldi also has a bargain pie maker for sale. Boasting a deep fill, you can load your homemade pies up. Pie maker fans are another kettle of fish. Cupcakes, custard tarts and the best-poached eggs are just a few of the alternate uses for this kitchen appliance.

Aldi is also selling a big family pie maker, it too has a deep fill capacity, perfect for warm comforting dinners moving into the cooler weather. Anyone else fancy some apple pie right about now?
