Hollywood star lets daughter cut her hair - and check out what she did!

Would you let your child cut your hair? 

Could you do it looking like you didn't have a care in the world?

Or without looking in a mirror?

No, nor could we!

But Salma Hayek let her 11-year-old daughter loose with a pair of scissors for a special haircut - and managed to look serene while Valentina Paloma went to town with a pair of scissors. Salma even videoed it all!

Now, we're guessing (or hoping?) there was a real hair dresser on hand to even up the edges a bit, but it doesn't look like it. We're guessing Valentina cut her mum's hair as part of a birthday treat as she celebrated being 11 last week. Or maybe it was Salma's birthday treat as she turned 52 at the beginning of the month (yes, she's 52).

But damn, Salma's lucky she didn't come back with a huge chunk taken out of the back of her head or a wobbly fringe!

Taking to Instagram, Salma wrote, 'Happy birthday 🎂🎈🎁 Valentina. You are so awesome and handy too! Thank you for cutting my hair! I love you more than love itself.'

They then celebrated Valentina's birthday by dunking her head into a cake.
