Is this the world’s most un-healthy takeaway?
This box of fried food with hot chips is being sold at a takeaway shop in Scotland – and it contains a gut-busting 7,000 calories worth of food.
This ‘Crunchy Box’ – which costs $17 - contains chips and a range of battered food including two pizza crunches (pizza in fried batter), fish, two sausages, two hamburgers, onion rings, chicken nuggets and fritters.
It also comes with a two-litre bottle of Irn-Bru – a fizzy drink - taking the calorie count to a massive 6,792.
In 2014 Pizza Hut was slammed after they started selling a "Cheeseburger Pizza" that hit 3,000 calories – but that is half as much as this.
The manager of the East West Spice takeaway shop, Bahadur Singh, in Greenock, Scotland says he designed the box for more than one person but people can’t get enough.
'I just thought it would be nice to combine the ideas and bring something which would appeal to everyone. We put the deal on and people seem to love it.'
