Wife sends husband off to bucks night with list of “strict instructions”

Stag parties are renowned for getting a little bawdy, but are usually considered a rite of passage for the groom-to-be and his mates.

However, one wife decided to create a list of rules to ensure things didn’t get out of hand – not just for her husband, but for ALL the men attending.

Taking to Reddit, the woman shared the list and explained why she made it in the first place.

“So hubby has been invited to a bachelor party, I’m more than happy for him to go, but we are Christians so I was thinking of writing a list of ruled [sic] for all the men to follow. Let me know if I’ve missed something,” she wrote.

The list specifies that there are to be no drugs, alcohol, smoking, strippers, no swearing and no gambling.

She also put the kybosh on “wrestling/play fighting”, said phones needed to be tracked at all times, and that everyone needed to be home by midnight.

The post has received more than 2800 comments, with most posters in complete disbelief, and many believing the woman was a control freak and likely headed for divorce courts.

“You poor bastard... Would you like to join me for some illegal drugs and swearing?” wrote one commenter.

“And no one is allowed to use excessive sugar in their tea! One lump only, we are Christians not monsters!” quipped another.

“They say love is blind but this woman appears pretty paranoid about letting ‘hubby’ out of her sight.”

The woman edited her original comment by saying that everyone was right – she could not control her husband when he was not with her – so her solution was to say he couldn’t go at all.
