WATCH: The latest movie trailer for The Lion King
The 2019 release comes on the 25th anniversary of the original movie
Disney has just released the first full trailer of director Jon Favreau’s remarkably realistic “live action” take on the great 1994 traditionally animated film, The Lion King.
This remake follows the story of the original film, with the primary cast including Donald Glover as Simba, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa the Warthog, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala and James Earl Jones as Mufasa.

The Lion King is scheduled to be released on July 19, 2019, which marks the 25th anniversary of the release of the original film.
