Back in 1985 Sylvanian Families arrived on the market.
Created by Japanese company Epoch, the miniature plastic flocked fur figurines became a household favourite.
By 1988 the teeny tiny furry critters had even won the British Association of Toy Retailers 'Toy of the Year'. They were THE toy of the 80's.
Chances are you have some of the original 80's and 90's figurines stashed away that could be worth thousands!

The rarest in the Sylvanian families collection are the ultra rare giant ex-retail display figurines. Years ago there were competitions you could enter to win the 71cm size figurines, there are very few left in the world.
If you are lucky enough to have one you are sitting on upwards of $2000!

Ralph the giant squirrel has a current listing price of $2,400! It is not in mint condition, imagine just how much you could make if you have one in it's original packaging!

This vintage original Windmill with packaging from 1989 has a current listing of over $1000. The box and the windmill have been stored away from light, you will note there is no fading on the packaging or the product. A rare find indeed.

If you are lucky enough to own a Deluxe Village house in it's original packaging, the standard asking price is around $500. This is for the house alone, furniture and figurines in mint condition can earn you even more!
