Tammin Sursok has opened about her struggle with postpartum anxiety.
The former Home and Away star revealed on Instagram that the anxiety “hit her like a tonne of bricks” after welcoming her daughter, Phoenix in 2013.
Sursok, 33, revealed she went to her mother for help, telling her: “I can’t do this anymore,” despite never really asking for help before.
“I’ve never really suffered so much that it broke me. Suffered so much that it felt like my entire body was made of glass and a mere touch would create a hairline fracture that would slowly break it,” she wrote.
“Like pieces of a puzzle, and take my soul away with it.”
Last month the Pretty Little Liars actress revealed that she wants to have a second child with husband Sean McEwan.
"But I so want another child, I want one so badly that I can feel him/her with me. I close my eyes and I can smell their smell," she wrote on her blog.
"My body is so ready that it's frustrated. I hear their name as I drift off to slumber and I know it won't be too long until we meet each other."
