If you or one of your loved ones were born in February, or you’re expecting a baby during this month, then you’re in luck. According to science, there are multiple reasons why people born during the second month of the year have an advantage over the rest of us.

1 They’re more likely to be famous
People born under the star sign Aquarius (Jan 20 to Feb 18) People born under the star sign Aquarius are tipped to be destined for greatness, according to a study published in the Journal of Social Sciences. “It was found that the zodiac Aquarius has the largest number of celebrities in the sample,” researchers said. Famous Aquarians include Cristiano Ronaldo, Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Aniston, Justin Timberlake and former US President Abraham Lincoln.

2 They may just become basketball legends…
According to a 2006 Harvard study of around 21,000 children from around the world, those born in February were taller and weighed more at the age of seven than their friends who were born during other times of the year. Also, NBA legend Michael Jordan celebrates his birthday on February 17.

3 … Or famous artists
February babies are either born under the Aquarius or Pisces star signs—which are linked to the traits of originality and creativity. A study from the UK’s Office for National Statistics found that people born in February are more likely to be artists. Famous artists born in February include painters Norman Rockwell and Pierre-Auguste Renoir and photographer Ansel Adams.

4 Their birth flowers are the violet and the primrose
Those born in February have two lovely blossoms as their birth flowers: the violet, which signifies loyalty and faithfulness, and the primrose, which symbolizes youth and undying love.

5 They have satisfying careers

February is the only month of the year with 28 days. And every four years, February gets an extra day. But the odds of being born on February 29th are slim — just 1 in 1461. So even though it makes birthdays slightly trickier, leap year children are very unique.
