Prince William's bizarre forehead scar ​- you won't believe how he got it!

Did you know Prince William has a huge scar on his head that he calls his 'Harry Potter scar?'

The royal dad-of-three is clearly quite proud of the huge red welt on the left side of his forehead but there was a mystery surrounding quite how he got it. 

But it is quite the story, as he himself revealed!

The Duke of Cambridge admits that when he was 13, he was hit across the head with a golf club!

Pointing at his scar he told a young fan, 'That was for my Harry Potter scar, as I call it, just here. I call it that because it glows sometimes and some people notice it - other times they don't notice it at all.

'I got hit by a golf club when I was playing golf with a friend of mine.'

He went on to explain, 'Yeah, we were on a putting green and the next thing you know there was a seven-iron and it came out of nowhere and it hit me in the head.

'So, yeah, I was in hospital for that...'

No-one's quite sure why or how the 'friend' ended up with whacking the royal around the head when they were meant to be putting, but it's made Prince William look a little more dashing and dangerous, right?
