Pink tells Ellen why she WON'T share photos of her kids online anymore
The singer got quite emotional
Singer Pink has never shied away from sharing her private life on social media, including pics of husband Carey Hart and their children Willow Sage and Jameson Moon.
However, the 39-year-old recently revealed that she was no longer planning to share pics of her kids due to horrible comments from trolls on her Instagram account.
In April, she shared a photo on Instagram of herself, two-year-old Jameson, and Willow, seven. A pelican had flown into their room, and Pink wanted to document and share the experience. In the photo, Jameson wasn’t wearing a nappy.
“I have a two-year-old; two-year-olds don’t like to wear wet swim diapers, and apparently, at some point, he took it off,” Pink explained on Ellen’s show.
“We live on a farm. My kids are naked. It’s what happens. I’m naked sometimes!”
Pink added that people said some of the “nastiest” things, including that someone should call child services on her for not putting her child in a diaper. There were also comments about the fact that Jameson was circumcised.
The singer ended up removing the photo and replacing it with a censored version, along with a clapback for trolls.
However, the incident really upset her, she revealed.
“I cried so hard after that, because I like to share my family,” she said.
“It’s my proudest moment in my whole life. I’m prouder of my kids than anything I’ve ever done. And I just won’t share them anymore. I won’t do it.”
The singer also said she felt it was a good time to pull daughter Willow, in particular, back from the spotlight as she gets older to protect her privacy.
