TV star slams Daniel Craig for wearing a baby carrier BUT dads around the world fight back!

Dad-power is a powerful thing

October 17 2018

Piers Morgan is going to regret the day he slammed James Bond star Daniel Craig for carrying his baby daughter in a baby carrier.

The British TV host took to social media to bemoan how 'emasculated' the 50-year-old actor looked as he carried his month-old tot around. The dictionary defines emasculated as depriving a man of his male role or identity.

Dads from all over the world, including celebrity dads took to Instagram and Twitter to tell Piers how offensive they found him mocking a dad who was looking after his own child by carrying them in a papoose.

Hollywood actor Chris Evans questioned Piers Morgan's own sense of masculinity!

His dad-shaming post led to more than 16,000 people berating him for his comments with some labelling him "insecure manbaby" and "sexist jackwagon".

Writer Rachel Sigee from The Pool summed it up when she posted this photo and said, 'But, of course, Morgan’s rant about papooses isn’t really about papooses at all. It’s about him attempting to protect a system of strict gender conditioning that has benefited him and continues to do so. It’s about perpetuating a set of stereotypical characteristics for masculinity that are unhelpful to all people.'

And in the way that the internet does best, thousands of dads took to social media to show off photos of themselves carrying their babies in a baby carrier and proudly sticking up for all men who do so.

Take that, Piers Morgan!
