This is so sad.

August 28 2018

A mum who killed her nine-year-old son before committing suicide left a series of chilling, tell-tale Facebook posts in the days before they both died.

Erica Bond, 47, and her son were found inside their home on in Wyonagh on the Central Coast yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the home after neighbours heard a woman screaming.

Ms Bond had shared several chilling posts and a video about depression in days before she died.

On July 10 she wrote, 'Depression is REAL. People can smile all day and still be broken inside.'

Ms Bond was known as a lively member of the community who loved golf and was passionate about animals and spending time with her young son.

Shocked neighbours told The Daily Telegraph that the family were quiet residents.

'I've heard them have a few fights occasionally but nothing serious, I didn't think,' he said.

'You never expect something like this on a quiet street like this, but when I saw the tape, I knew something bad had happened.'

Ms Bond worked at Kooindah Waters Golf Club in the golf shop and was the current ladies champion of the club.

Tuggerah Lakes Police Acting Inspector, Matt Kelly, confirmed the tragic deaths were the result of a murder suicide. 'Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding their deaths but no other parties are being sought in relation to this incident,' a NSW Police statement said.
