A mother has given her daughter the greatest the gift: a child just in time for Christmas.
When Julie Bradford’s daughter, Jessica, became infertile after cancer treatment, she didn’t hesitate to become a surrogate using her daughter’s eggs and giving give birth to her own grandson.
Jessica was diagnosed with cervical cancer when she was 18. Now, at 21, she is the happy mother to a beautiful baby boy.
Julie, a mother of three, described the baby’s birth as a "Christmas miracle".
“Any mother would do this for their child,” she told the Daily Mirror. “If cancer couldn't beat us there was no way I wasn't having a baby for Jessica.”
Speaking to the BBC, Jessica said: “My mam is the most brave and amazing woman in the world. I love her so much for giving me my son.”
