Meghan Markle was in the middle of her first solo assignment of the day, when security breaches saw the royal mum escorted out.

The Duchess of Sussex was greeted to huge cheers as she arrived at Suva Municipal Market.But growing crowds had security aids concerned, with the decision to rush the pregnant royal out of the market in Suva, Fiji, on Oct. 24.

Meghan's visit to the Suva Market has been cut short due to security risks! 😮 Kensington Palace said it's due to massive crowds, people climbing on roofs etc. So she was rushed out!! Safety first! The palace said Meghan met everyone she was supposed to meet . . . . Locals were overjoyed at the prospect of seeing Meghan.

In preparation for the arrival of the former Suits actress, a group of women sung hymns outside the municipal market in Suva.

Crowds flocked to the market near the city’s port with Union Jacks, the Stars and Stripes and Fijian flags, with some taking shelter from the sun with umbrellas.

Meghan’s visit to the Suva Municipal Market was cut short to just over five minutes due to a “security risk”, Kensington Palace said.

The mum-to-be protected herself from the zika virus, wearing a long-sleeved in a colourful pink dress with a blue and white floral pattern, designed by Figue - which retails for $2100.
