Lindt release a luxe chocolate hazelnut spread

Not so long ago the chocolatiers at Lindt launched a hazelnut spread in the UK that was only available to purchase in their London stores, and is now sold out. However, that very same spread, according to the Lindt Australia website, is available for purchase in our very own Lindt cafes, here in Australia, for just $12.

The Lindt hazelnut spread is available in a 210g jar, and while you may be thinking this is just fancy Nutella, let us tell you that Nutella, made by Ferrero, is only 13 per cent hazelnuts, while this creation by Lindt is 40 per cent nuts. The Swiss company describes the spread as follows:

"The use of real LINDT chocolate combined with hazelnut enables you to create a delightful dessert or snack with a full and intense flavor. The preparation method that has been fine-tuned by the Lindt MaÎtres Chocolatiers to give rise a perfectly smooth mixture which retains the full chocolate aroma."
