An application for an apprehended violence order has been made against Kate Ritchie's husband of nine years, Stuart Webb.
A court listing in the NSW criminal court shows the matter will be heard on October 24.
The actress, under her married name Katherine Leigh Webb, is listed on the hearing.

An AVO order is typically made by a court is when a person fears for their safety, to protect them from further violence, intimidation or harassment.
Stuart, a former professional NRL player, was arrested earlier in the year for driving under the influence, and faced court in April.
This was his second drink-driving offence, following an offence seven years earlier.
The couple have been married since 2010 and together are parents to their four-year-old daughter, Mae.
Kate is most famous for her long-running role as Sally Fletcher in beloved soap Home & Away, but is more enjoys a career as an award-winning radio broadcaster, and an author of children's books.
Kate's representatives have been contacted for comment.
