Jimmy Barnes Welcomes His 13th Grandchild

Congratulations are in order for Jimmy Barnes who just welcomed the arrival of his 13th grandchild, Rosetta Elizabeth Rodgers, to his daughter Mahalia and son-in-law Ben.

The singer says thirteen has always been a lucky number - the date of his wife's birthday as well as the number he used to sport on his footy jumpers onstage.

"No matter whether you’re superstitious or not, one look at this beautiful baby and you can see we are lucky already," the rock icon told New Idea.

"She is a gorgeous little thing, and from the get-go young Rosetta has had a hell of a voice.

"We're not sure about the pitch yet, but she's got the power. She's certainly got lungs, although she's a really good girl and only cries when she's hungry!"
