An Instagram star has come under fire for posting a photo of her husband holding a sign which suggests that doing housework helps him to get lucky in the bedroom.

Bri Dietz shared the photo on social media, and the sign reads: Helping with housework so you can get lucky is called choreplay.

She captioned the pic: Nothing hotter. Any other 'acts of service' love-language-ers out there? Mine 100%”

The post has been liked more than 10,000 times and has hundreds of comments, but Bri’s sign has divided women, with some agreeing with her and others finding it highly offensive.

“Yes! It’s such a turn on for me and also a win/win because it means I’ve got more time to spend on my man instead of doing cleaning and laundry,” wrote one woman.

“My husband said to me yesterday “is there anything else I can do?” after checking a bunch of things off of my list. Totally choreplay,” added another.

However many women felt that chores should be divided equally between a couple, and were not something to be done in return for intimacy.

“Choreplay”? No. It’s his house too. “Equals” means you both pull your weight because you are equal. Not because of “choreplay”. True equality is what’s sexy,” wrote one commented.

“’Helping with housework’ infantilizes men and implies that the home is the woman’s job. Nothing sexy about that,” added another.

“It’s his house too. It’s his responsibility too. It shouldn’t be so rare he’s ‘helping’ that when he does it’s a turn on. And implying he’s just helping to “get lucky” is cringe as hellllll.”
