Sad news for Emma and Lachy Wiggle

The Wiggles band members Emma Watkins and Lachlan Gillespie have separated after just two years of marriage.

In a post on Instagram, Emma stated that she and Lachy have been undergoing a trial separation for the past six months and have made the decision to call it quits.

"We have, and continue to share, the most beautiful life together,” she wrote.

“But we wanted to let you know that privately we have been navigating through a trial separation, and we have made the decision to separate as a couple.”

The duo have continued to perform together with Emma hinting that they would continue to do so.

Emma calls it a “very positive change in our relationship” and says their friendship has strengthened and that they love performing together.

Nonetheless, we can’t say we’re not devastated at the thought that there won’t be a baby Wiggle now!
