Chris Hemsworth and wife Elsa Pataky have experienced every parent's worst nightmare.
The pair had to rush one of their twin boys to hospital on Sunday, October 29.
Sharing the news to Instagram, Elsa shared a picture of Chris holding their four-year-old with a cast on his arm.
"Nobody tells you how much it hurts when your kids get hurt," Elsa wrote.
She added a series of hashtags, including "#comingoutofhospital", "#bravelikedaddy" and "#don'tlookatme".
It's unclear how he sustained the injury.
Chris and Elsa married in 2010 and share three children - India Rose, six, and four-year-old twin sons, Sasha and Tristan.
The couple have chosen to not show their children's faces on social media, so it is still unknown if it was Sasha or Tristan who was hurt.
The family live in Byron Bay where they try to give all the kids a grounded and 'real Aussie' upbringing.
