Can’t find eggs? 7 egg substitutes for baking

As supermarket supplies are getting harder and harder to find amid coronavirus panic buying, home cooks are looking are getting creative in the kitchen.

We’ve seen bread baked in the slow cooker, flourless 15 second wraps and now the latest is the egg hack.

The handy chart below offers a staggering 7, yes 7, substitutes for eggs when baking.

The top 3 are:

* 3 tablespoons of peanut butter

*1/4 cup of unsweetened applesauce

*1/2 mashed banana

Other options are

*1 tablespoon of Agar agar and 1 tablespoon of water

*1 tablespoon of Soy protein and 3 tablespoons of water

*1 tablespoon of Chia seeds and 1/3 cup of water (mix and let sit for 15 minutes)

*1 tablespoon of Ground flaxseed and 3 tablespoons of water (blend until mixture is thick, creamy and egg-like)
