Bonds baby clothing sold at Direct Factory Outlet stores in Victoria and Queensland between August 19 and September 10 are being recalled after failing to meet Australian labelling regulation requirements.
The company are requesting that products from the Bonds Bodysuit, Stretchies, Signature, Zip Romper and Zip Wondersuit labels are to be returned to the store for a full refund.
Bonds spokeswoman Sue Cato communicated that the recall products weren't intended to be sold in Australia, therefore they were missing the mandatory warning labels.
“All of the affected Bonds Baby Coveralls are otherwise 100% compliant with Australian regulations for low fire danger products and are identical to the products sold in Australia. We are committed to always meeting Australian labelling regulation requirements and given the issue we have notified the ACCC that we will recall all garments affected," she said.
The affected stores include DFO Essendon, DFO South Wharf and Harbour Town Regional Shopping Centre.
