Aldi releases chocolate wine for Christmas!
The fortified Spanish wine is perfect for the festive season
Aldi is releasing bottles of Rubis Chocolate Wine in November, just in time for the festive season.
Rubis Chocolate Wine is a fortified wine made from Tempranillo grapes and flavoured with chocolate essences.
The wine also has notes of ‘spice, vanilla and fresh cherries’ and a rich, velvety texture.
The indulgent wine launched at Aldi last Christmas and the supermarket is bringing it back by popular demand for the festive season.
Last year the sweet wine also won a silver medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The wine goes on sale in the UK mid-November, with Australian availability still to be confirmed.
Rubis Chocolate Wine is also available from Master of Malt, and retails at just $21.43.
