A Nanny Has Donated Part Of Her Liver To The Child She Cares For

22-year-old Kiersten has truly gone above and beyond.

February 02 2017

Now in recovery following the operation, Kiersten says she has no regrets. “It’s such a small sacrifice when you compare it to saving a life,” the college student told Fox News. “All I had to do was be in the hospital for a week and a five-inch scar. I don’t know, it just seemed like such a small sacrifice to me.”

“I can never donate again, so they had to tell me in the future so if I have a child in a similar situation or a different one and they need a liver even if I’m a 100 per cent match I can’t donate. You can only donate once.”
